Cotton diapers or paper diapers

My son is in ,size, 5 ,diapers,, 18 ,month, clothes, but when my twins were the same age they were in 6 or 9 ,month, clothes. I don't remember the ,diaper size,. The ,size, of ,baby, clothes varies so widely from brand to brand. I still struggle to find pants that fit my older son because he's thin with long legs. Anything that fits in the waist is too short.

He is really big for his age though. He is 32 inches and 24 lbs which puts him in the 100% percentile for both height and weight. He already wears a 2T in clothes. So it really depends on each child.
